Blitz Lieferservice
A delivery workflow a new driver can follow on day one
Delivery points lived in experienced drivers' heads and on paper notes. New drivers took weeks to become useful, and hours and pay were tracked by hand.
- Logistics
- Location tracking
- Bilingual
- Payroll

The problem
- Delivery locations known only to the drivers who had been there
- No way to see where a driver was or whether a stop was done
- New drivers slow and expensive to bring up to speed
- Attendance and pay kept separately from the operation itself
What we built
- Delivery points organised into categories, each with photos of the actual door
- Driver accounts with access only to the categories assigned to them
- Ordered stops with turn-by-turn navigation to the next one
- Attendance, payroll and income and expense ledgers in the same platform
How it went live
- German and English throughout, German as the default
- Deployed on hardened infrastructure with SSL and off-site backups
- Driver app and staff portal released together
- Supported under a written agreement with defined response times
Built with
Next.js with route handlers, Prisma and MySQL, Google Maps for routing and navigation, photo proof of delivery stored server-side, deployed with nginx, PM2 and automated certificates.
Results
2 daysto get a new driver productive
A new driver used to shadow an experienced one for about two weeks to learn the delivery points. They now follow the ordered stops and the photos from day one.
